Lady of Magic

Lady of Magic
Who has fulfilled my Soul
In its loneliest places.
Your luminous strands
Slip through my hands
And play in my dreams
With faces.

Your sweet-sung call
From beyond the wall
Of my awful fearful quaking,
Has me peering through mist
Waiting to be kissed
By the lips of a poets making.

I'll open my wounds
and empty my mind,
I'll harden my flesh
And my will.

Oh to love and be still.
